Yes. Just like any QLogic HBA sold at HP for Linux, the QLogic QMH2462 4Gb FC HBA Mezzanine HBA supports Linux failover through the driver and not a separate application. Linux failover for the new 4Gb HBAs now includes a dynamic load balancing feature. The previous driver just included static load balancing.

Is it possible to standardize all of my QLogic HBAs from HP on the same driver level? |

Windows and Linux drivers for the QLogic 4Gb HBAs sold by HP can be used on the HP 2Gb HBAs from QLogic. For example, if you have p-Class BladeSystem servers with 2Gb QLogic Mezzanine Cards and ProLiant servers with FCA2214 HBAs installed and you add a c-Class BladeSystem with QLogic QMH2462 4Gb FC HBA Mezzanine HBAs, you can standardize on the new Windows and Linux drivers.
