Introduction

The Compaq Range Extender Antenna provides more coverage than standard PC Cards with its 5-dBi indoor omni directional antenna. The Range Extender comes standard with a 1.5-meter cable, which gives you more flexibility in where you choose to mount your antenna. Benefits of the Range Extender Antenna:

  • Lower cost of ownership. The Range Extender's extra coverage means fewer Access Points per building.
  • Provide a better range for hidden computers. Because desktop computers are often hidden underneath desks or in computer rooms, on board adapter cards are usually shielded from radio signals.
