Product Highlights

Small Form Factor with Flexible Mounting Options ("Zero-U" or "1U" Mounting Options)The new Compaq Power Distribution Units have a smaller form factor that allows them to be mounted in either a "Zero-U" or "1U" configuration. This unique design provides managed power distribution for rack cabinets without sacrificing valuable rack space needed for business critical servers and storage requirements. Users can choose to mount their PDU in either a "Zero-U" configuration (which consumes no front-panel rack mounting space) or a "1U" configuration.

Consolidate and Maximize Cord Management Provides up to 12 AC receptacles (circuit breaker protected) to distribute and consolidate power cords, and maximize cord management.

Easy Installation The new Compaq PDUs install in either a zero-U or 1U configuration, offering maximum flexibility for utilizing valuable rack space. The installation process is quick and easy. For zero-U mounting, all required mounting brackets, accessories, and installation instructions are shipped with the product.
The 1U mounting brackets are available as a separate mounting kit, part number 215852-B21.

Surge and Spike Protection All Compaq Power Distribution Units are internally surge and spike protected.

Current Capacity High voltage models of the Compaq PDUs range from 16A to 40A current capacity. One low voltage model is available with a 24A current capacity.

Single cable for Y-cables pack of 20 cables
Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition (RILOE) power cable has been designed for plugging into Compaq high-line PDUs. One single high-line PDU cable supports two RILOE cards, which reduces the number of plugs required on the PDU for connecting the RILOE cards. The Compaq high-line PDU does not support the standard RILOE power cord that ships in the RILOE kits.
