| Introduction | ||
|
Bluetooth MultiPort Module is HP's Bluetooth communications implementation
that provides wireless connectivity to other devices, by using the Bluetooth
wireless technology. MultiPort provides a flexible interface to integrate
Bluetooth into HP notebooks, with the added benefit of leaving the PC
Card and Mini PCI slots available for other technologies. In addition,
the unique design and placement of MultiPort greatly reduces noise susceptibility
and prevents signal strength degradation while increasing radio coverage.
MultiPort is fully compliant with the Bluetooth 1.1 protocol specification.
