260472-B25
Overview
The DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive combines the functionality of a DVD-ROM and CD-RW drives into a single MultiBay drive. The DVD/CD-RW drive reads and writes data to standard CD-ROM media and plays DVD movies.

Performance
Like all combo and CD-RW drives available today, the Compaq DVD/CD-RW drive is sensitive to external force while writing information to a disk. When the drive is writing data, it should be allowed to complete its task before the user continues using the computer.

  • One MultiBay drive for CD-RW, DVD-ROM and CD-ROM functionality
  • Up to 700 MB of data storage capacity when creating CDs
Compatibility
The Compaq DVD/CD-RW drive is compatible across all Compaq Armada and Evo Notebook computers and docking products that implement the 12.7-mm MultiBay form factor.

The Compaq DVD/CD-RW option warranty period is one year, offering free parts and labor, or the remaining warranty period of the notebook/docking station the drive is installed, whichever warranty period is longer.
