Introduction

The Broadcom® NetXtreme™ Based 10/100/1000 Management Gb Adapter is a high performance, PCI v2.2 32-bit, 33/66 MHz Ethernet LAN adapter that dramatically improves network response time and reduces customer support costs. The adapter supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T LAN protocols and provides 10/100 Mbps connectivity through two pairs of standard CAT-5 cable up to 100 meters in distance, and 1000 Mbs connectivity through four pairs of standard CAT-5/CAT-5E cable up to 100 meters in distance. It conforms to the IEEE 802.3ab 1000 Base-T standard. The Broadcom NetXtreme Based 10/100/1000 Management Gb Adapter contains factory-enabled logic to enable Wake On Lan (WOL) and is totally software configurable with no jumpers or switches. These features combined with the high-speed network connection capability and reduction of local support time result in a greater return on investment for network ownership.

The Broadcom NetXtreme Based 10/100/1000 Management Gb Adapter has a one-year limited warranty or the remainder of the warranty of the Compaq product in which it is installed. Technical support is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day by phone, as well as online support forums. Certain restrictions and exclusions apply.
