| The
HP StorageWorks AIT-35 GB Autoloader provides workgroup and departmental server
environments with a slim-design, low-cost tape automation solution for rotational
backup of less than 70 GB, providing a total of 560-GB (2:1 compression) storage
capacity in a 1U rackmount or tabletop form factor. Supporting one AIT 35-GB drive
and 8 cartridges, the AIT 35-GB Autoloader delivers industry-leading storage density
with easy-to-use management features. |

| Advanced Intelligent Tape (AIT) Technology | The AIT drive employs a helical scan recording style in which data tracks are written at an angle relative to the edge of the tape. This provides higher density recording, enabling HP customers to lower costs and increase efficiency by storing more data on a single tape. |
