In addition you receive visual and spoken guidance as you drive to with turn-by-turn directions. Once your trip is underway the iPAQ Navigation System gives you plenty of flexibility to reach your destination quickly and easily. Specify your routing options to route by shortest distance, fastest route, or by avoiding freeways. The dynamic route calculation engine not only quickly calculates your initial route, but monitors your progress along the way and automatically reroutes you if you miss a turn along the way.

The Bluetooth GPS receiver that is included with the iPAQ Navigation system gives you the ability to locate the GPS receiver anywhere in your vehicle for optimal signal quality while still connecting to your iPAQ Pocket PC over the wireless Bluetooth link. The receiver features fast GPS acquisition time - less than 45 seconds for a cold start, 38 seconds for a warm start and 8 seconds for a hot start. With the internal rechargeable battery, the GPS receiver provides 8 hours of continuous operation on a single charge.
