ProLiant Cluster Starter Kit

 
The ProLiant Cluster Starter kit is a "How-to Guide" that includes documentation for ProLiant Clusters that use HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Arrays (MSA1000 or MSA1500 cs) or HP Enterprise Virtual Arrays (EVA3000, EVA4000, EVA5000, EVA6000, EVA8000). This kit includes installation with Secure Path or Microsoft MPIO.

NOTE: This Kit does not include Secure Path Software.

HP StorageWorks EVA 4000/6000/8000 The HP StorageWorks 4000/6000/8000 Enterprise Virtual Arrays are three next generation storage array products. Designed specifically for customers in the mid-range to enterprise marketplace, by offering high performance, high availability "virtual" array storage solutions. Not only do these solutions save time, space and costs compared to traditionally architected storage, it is supported by a powerfully simple suite of management software making it easy for users to achieve highest level of productivity.

The new EVA4000/6000/8000 are designed for the data center where there is a critical need for improved storage utilization and scalability. HP StorageWorks MSA1000 Small Business SAN & HA Kit HP StorageWorks MSA1000 Small Business SAN & HA Kit ships with two new FCA200 Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapters and a new 2/8Q Fibre Channel External Switch for lower cost of entry into a Storage Area Network environment.

Customers can select the appropriate operating system and the storage platform to view the matrix which represents quality tested and supported servers, Fibre Channel switches, Host Bus Adapters, and software deliverables that make up supported ProLiant Cluster configurations.
