| Introduction |
| The FireWire 1394 FW323-06 PCI Card is an Agere FW323-06 Single Chipset IEEE1394a based PCI Host Adapter card, allowing high-speed data transfer between workstations and professional, or consumer electronic communication devices such as digital cameras and hard drives. With the 1394 FireWire PCI card, high-speed peripherals can be connected externally, eliminating the need to install internal hardware making installation as simple as connecting the device to your workstation. The PCI card features two external 1394 ports located on the PCI card bracket and one internal port located on the PCI card itself. All a customer needs is an open PCI slot and either Microsoft® Windows® XP or Linux to create the ability of bringing high-speed peripheral connectivity to their desktop. |

| Performance |
| The FireWire 1394 FW323-06 PCI Card can transfer data up to 400 Mbps and can communicate with any IEEE-1394 compliant devices. Such devices include digital cameras, external hard drives, high-speed scanners, and other electronic devices. |

| The FireWire 1394 FW323-06 PCI Card is compatible with the HP xw4200 and xw6200 Workstations as well as compatible with all HP Compaq Business Desktops with the exception of those that do not have PCI slots. |
