The NVIDIA Quadro NVS 285 with TurboCache Technology PCIe Graphics Controller is a low profile, dual-head graphics card that delivers next-generation multi-display capabilities to professional 2D applications. Easily installed with a setup wizard, this controller integrates seamlessly with the Microsoft® Windows® environment. NVIDIA's m One 16-bit Video overlay plane ulti-display software, nView, lets users fully operate on dual displays and create up to 32 individual desktops. The NVIDIA Quadro NVS 285 with TurboCache Technology PCIe Graphics Card delivers workstation graphics productivity with stability, high image quality, and fast performance.

The NVIDIA Quadro NVS 285 with TurboCache Technology PCIe Graphics Card is ideal for desktop users such as telesales-center representatives or advanced Excel spreadsheet analysts who require the flexibility of dual-monitor displays.

For workstation users, it is tested for compatibility with all major financial, non-linear editing (NLE), and electronic design automation (EDA) applications. It provides great flexibility for users who need support for dual analog or digital displays.

The NVS 285 includes 64MB of local memory plus 64MB of system memory via NVIDIA's TurboCache technology for a total of 128MB graphics memory. The TurboCache feature, which is integral the Quadro NVS 285 GPU, allows the card to also use the system memory as if it were local to the card. Utilizing the high-speed bidirectional PCI Express bus, TurboCache doubles the memory bandwidth. The displayable desktop is always stored in local memory to minimize the impact on system memory performance. For optimal usage of the Quadro NVS 285, NVIDIA recommends a minimum system memory configuration of 256MB.

Workstations: The NVIDIA Quadro NVS 285 with TurboCache Technology PCIe Graphics Card is compatible with the HP workstations xw4300, xw6200, xw8200 and xw9300.
NOTE: The NVIDIA Quadro NVS 285 with TurboCache Technology PCIe Graphics Card does not support Dual-link capable monitors (30"or higher LCD monitors)
