HP Rack 10000 G2 Series

In addition to the universality of the new racks, important improvements have been made from the previous version, including improved and updated front door design with bright-aluminum finish; improved front and rear door handles and latches, and easier to handle three section side panels.

• Rack Airflow Optimization Kit now available. This kit is designed to isolate the hot aisle from the cold aisle preventing hot air from entering the cold aisle from inside the rack, in-between racks, and between the floor and base of the rack. Easily installed, and retrofitted to existing rows of racks, each kit can be used with any HP rack height and wither 600mm or 800mm wide racks.

• The HP Rack 10000 G2 Series is the first universal rack compatible with all HP rack mounted products including ProLiant, Integrity, Nonstop, HP 9000 and Alpha servers as well as StorageWorks products. This effort simplifies the HP rack product line by consolidating all previous rack offerings into a single universal rack for all HP server and storage platforms.
• The HP Rack 10000 G2 Series also offers many improvements over the HP Rack 10000 Series racks:
  
  • Front door with updated design
  • Front and rear door handles and lock bars for improved security
  • Side panels come in 3 parts for easier manageability and mounting
  • Cable management accessories
  • Improved CTO pallet with offload metal ramp included
  • Improved mounting of stabilization feet with expanded offering to include regular and heavy-duty stabilization feet in 600 mm and a new regular 800 mm wide stabilizer
  • Expanded offering of rack configurations including:
    
    • 36U and 42U Rack with rear extension kit included, mounted on a shock pallet for CTO
    • New rack tie-down kit and new grounding kit
• Three year limited warranty, parts only (3/0/0)

The HP Rack 10000 G2 Series racks are industry standard 19 inch RETMA standard and will support third-party equipment designed to mount on 19 inch wide

• The 2 meter form factor of the 42U HP 10000 G2 Series rack allows the rack to be pushed upright through most standard doorways for easy door clearance
• HP is the only IT rack provider to offer a complete line of options and accessories that are designed to support HP products.
• Configurable at HP CTO (Configure to Order) facilities with dynamic weight up to 2000 lbs.

HP Care Pack services include coverage for the HP branded hardware options qualified for the server and purchased at the same time or afterward that are internal to the enclosure. This also includes the 22" and smaller external monitors and tower UPS options up to 3kVA. These items will be covered at the same service level and for the same coverage period as the server. Coverage of UPS Battery is not included, and standard warranty terms & conditions apply. For servers or storage systems installed within a rack, service also covers all HP qualified rack options installed within the same rack.

• Rack Option Hardware Support
  • Cover rack options with a single convenient service package. HP Care Pack Services for rack-mounted ProLiant DL servers and storage products provide support for all HP-branded rack hardware options that are qualified for inclusion with the server at the time of or after purchase. In addition, 22-inch and smaller external monitors, tower units, and UPS options up to 3KVA are covered at the same service level and for the same period as the server at not additional cost. Also covered are any additional HP-qualified rack options installed within the same rack.

HP Care Pack Services help increase uptime and productivity with rapid response on a 24x7 or 13x5 basis. Both options feature same-day, 4-hour onsite assistance when service issues cannot be resolved remotely. And both help enhance the return on server investment with proven HP Services expertise and consistent support levels across geographically dispersed sites.
