A license entitlement certificate will be delivered in place of a license activation key. The license entitlement certificate will be delivered via physical shipment for existing product numbers (with the exception of tracking licenses) and via e-mail for the new electronic license product numbers. It will contain information needed to redeem license activation key(s) online or via fax. Standard Features

Key Features	Automated, accurate, and affordable migration to new server hardware or VMware, Microsoft, or Citrix virtual machines. Perform P2ProLiant, V2ProLiant, P2V, or V2V migrations from a single interface.

Automated	Automates the migration of the OS, application and data from an existing physical server or virtual machine to a new ProLiant server or virtual machine. Manual steps required to do the migration are eliminated. Automatically install the latest PSP when migrating to a ProLiant server (P2ProLiant or V2ProLiant).

Simple to use	Installation and setup takes only a few minutes. Installs as a standalone application or can be integrated with HP Systems Insight Manager. All software is delivered on a single CD and an extremely intuitive user interface enables migration to be kicked off with no prior training required.

Preserves source server integrity	The source server is always available just the way it was running before the migration since no additional drivers are installed on the source server. No modification to the source server ensures a consistent image between source and destination.

Migrates any x-86 server	Having no source device driver dependency enables the migration of any x-86 source server running a supported operating system.

Resize disk and partition	Match availability of drive space on the destination server by excluding drives and partitions and/or resizing NTFS partitions during the migration. The size of the NTFS partitions may be increased or decreased.

Optimal destination server configuration	Tried and tested with the correct destination device drivers for all supported destination servers. NOTE: Before migrating, check and make sure all licenses may be legally transferred to the destination server.

SAN support	Support for migrations in a SAN environment when migrating to HP BladeSystem c-Class, including migrating servers from direct attach storage to boot from SAN.

HP will replace defective delivery media for a period of 90 days following the date of purchase.

Startup technical software support is available at no additional charge by calling HP Support up to 90 days from the date of purchase. Software Technical Support Service
Server Migration Pack - Universal Edition includes one year of 24 x 7 HP Software Technical Support Service. This service provides access to HP technical resources for assistance in resolving software implementation or operations problems. With this service, Insight Control and ProLiant Essentials customers will benefit from expedited problem resolution. For more information about this service, see: http://www.hp.com/services/insight.

If you received a license entitlement certificate, registration for this service will automatically take place upon redemption of the license certificate/key online and a service contract will be created for you.
If the license information you received for your product instructs you to register for Software Technical Support and Update Service, please follow the instructions or you will not be eligible for telephone support or product updates.

Once registered for this service, you will receive a letter in the mail containing the Customer Service Phone number for your reference and your Service Agreement Identifier (SAID). After you have received your SAID, you can go to the Software Update Manager (SUM) web page to view your contract online and elect electronic delivery for your updates.
