Introduction

The HP DreamColor Advanced Profiling Solution (APS) is an LCD monitor option designed for professional users who require precision color accuracy in their work output. It allows users to quickly and accurately calibrate monitor front-of-screen settings to prevent any drift of critical monitor color or whitepoint settings.

The kit contains a colorimeter and related software (for both Microsoft® Windows® and Apple Mac OS X; Linux support is planned through an open source project) that provides a number of options for display calibration (whitepoint, gamma, and luminance).

The HP APS will also validate the viewing environment ambient lighting conditions. The HP APS can be used with the HP Designjet Z Photo printer series to provide an end-to-end calibrated ICC color workflow.

Compatibility

The HP DreamColor Advanced Profiling Solution is compatible with the HP DreamColorLP2480zx Professional Display and HP Designjet Z Photo printer series.

Service and Support

Your Option Limited Warranty is a one (1) year (HP Option Limited Warranty Period) parts replacement warranty on any HP-branded or Compaq-branded options (HP Options). If your HP Option is installed in an HP Hardware Product, HP may provide warranty service either for the HP Option Limited Warranty Period or the remaining Limited Warranty Period of the HP Hardware Product in which the HP Option is being installed, whichever period is the longer but not to exceed three (3) years from the date you purchased the HP Option.
