Serial/COM Port Preconfiguration Options: | ||
Two preconfigured serial port jumper configurations are
available by selecting one of the following two part numbers when you
order the rp3000.
Service Preconfig 2x PWRD RS232 5V/12V |
GH655AV
Service Preconfig 4x PWRD RS232 5V/12V
GH656AV
When you order either option, the serial port jumpers will be preconfigured so that 12V will on the DSUB pin 1 and 5V will be on the DSUB pin 9. If you order GH655AV, the TWO serial ports on rp3000 will be configured for power. If you order GH656AV, FOUR serial ports will be configured for power. However, you must first order the HP 2-Port Powered Serial Port Card, option part number KH887AA, since there are only two serial ports on the rp3000. Adding the powered serial card option provides a total of four serial ports. |

of these optional preconfigured serial/COM port options.
