HP SIM and Remote Support Pack work together to help identify and notify you of potential problems.
The WEBES and OSEM tools analyze events and facilitate communication between you and HP Services by notifying HP SIM of serviceable events that have been submitted by the Remote Support Client as service incidents.
HP SIM displays these types of events in the Events List; the user is then able to obtain details on analysis results and call history.
Certain configurations of these tools can run co-existent on a SIM CMS (Central Management Server) for central processing in large scale environments.
