| Q1. |
What is the difference between the power capabilities of iLO 2 Advanced and the iLO Power Management Pack? |
| A1. |
Based on the same technology and data, iLO 2 Advanced aggregates 24-hours of worth of power and thermal data. The iLO Power Management Pack extends this data collection period over greater periods of time - days, weeks, months, or even years. This historical data is contained within the Insight Power Manager, a plug-in for HP Systems Insight Manager, and enables you to be able to easily spot trends over time. You also have the ability to look at power and thermal data across any grouping of servers (e.g. all exchange servers, servers in rack 3) and set power policy across all of them from a single interface.
