Overview

ProLiant Onboard Administrator Powered by LO100i is a new name for LO100i and provides IPMI, DCMI, and SMASH system management which are activated for additional functionality with LO100i Advanced licenses for HP ProLiant 100 series servers at affordable price-performance levels. This new name reflects the value added of a collection of embedded management tools in all ProLiant 100 series servers and consists of LO100i as well as simplified setup, embedded BMC, ORCA, RBSU, agents, IPMI support, and others.

With LO100i, customers or their service providers, can remotely manage their servers over a LAN or the Internet from anywhere, anytime regardless whether the server is located in the same building, across town, or around the globe. Users can remotely access a system's serial and Telnet consoles and monitor system environmental conditions from a browser or command line.

Advanced Licenses enable virtual KVM and virtual media as well as offer secured browser and command line access. "At-the-server" remote control means you can stay in control of your server for administration, troubleshooting and maintenance over a network.
