The new HP R8000/3 and R12000/3 Uninterruptible Power Systems are designed to high power output with industry leading efficiency for mission-critical enterprise solutions and rack data centers. These rack-mountable (UPS) models provide up to 12,000 watts (W) of power in a 6U rack form factor. This equates to 2 KW per U space, which leads the industry in power density*. The UPS R8000/3 and the R12000/3 use digital signal processing and a new online On Demand hybrid technology to answer the demands for increased power density and power efficiency.


Ideal environment

Large data centers
  • Unity power factor means 12000VA equals 12000 watts output.
  • Industry leading 97% efficiency, even at low a 40% load.
Small to mid size data centers
  • The HP 3 Phase UPS provides power protection for an entire racks of servers, storage, and communications equipment with unparalleled efficiency. Hot swappable electronics and batteries reduce downtime.
Co-location facilities
  • The HP 3 Phase UPS can provide power protection to one or more racks and can be managed by the administrators separately from the collocation facilities.
