The new HP IP Console Switches with Virtual Media ease the management of your datacenter.
The HP IP Console Switches with Virtual Media provide both local and remote access to a variety of devices from inside and outside the datacenter and require no software be installed on the target servers. Now administrators can not only remotely access KVM functions for day to day management but can also map a drive on their workstation to target servers to perform application and OS upgrades, firmware upgrades, or even installations The switchable USB pass-through allows local connection of USB devices directly to the switch for performing software upgrades or installations. Multiple levels of encryption and authentication via LDAP insure enterprise-wide security.
These Console Switches use HP's proven Cat5 and intelligent Interface Adapters to improve cabling and airflow, and allow for cascading up to three levels.
