Q1. Can the HP 10000 G2 Rack Air Duct kit be used with third party racks?
A1. No, it can be used only in conjunction with HP 10000 and 10000 G2 Series Racks.
Q2. Are sidepanels recommended on the rack when using the Air Duct kit?
A2. Yes, side panels are recommended when deploying a rack or multiple racks with the HP 10000 G2 Rack Air Duct kit.
Q3. If I already have a 10000 or 10000 G2 rack with racked equioment in it, which parts do I need to complete an Air Duct solution?
A3. if you already have a 10000 or 10000 G2 Series rack deployed, then you will need the Retrofit Prep Kit (AF029A) and the Air Duct and Rear Expansion Kit (AF028A).
  • If you are deploying a new rack, then you will need a 10000 G2 Series rack (AF001) with a Standard pallet or AF030A with shock pallet for Factory Express integration. The Air Dcut Kit will not ship installed to a CTO rack, it must be installed on location.
