Does the HP 5642 support third party servers and equipment? |
| A2. |
Yes, as long as the equipment to mount is designed for 19" industry standard wide racks and has rackmount rails designed for square holes. The depth column of the 5642 rack is 29 ¼ " deep and the rail kit used to mount the third party server must support that depth by either being adjustable or fixed at that length. |

Does the HP 5642 rack support CTO shipments? |

No, the HP 5642 ships without casters and has no shock pallet, the rack does not permit CTO shipments such as Factory Express. |

Does the HP 5642 rack support the StorageWorks EVAs? |
| A4. |
Any product that fits in a HP 10000 series rack will mount on the HP5642 rack, however attention must be given to the 1500 pounds maximum load capacity. Also remember that the HP5642 rack does not support CTO therefore the EVA will have to be mounted and configured on site by the customer. |

It usually takes 1 person about 1 hour the first time assembling the rack, it should only take 30 to 40 minutes to assemble the rack with experience. |

Yes. All the tools required for assembly are included in the rack kit. |

Can I assemble the rack and mount the equipment first and ship the rack to the datacenter? |

No, The HP5642 rack does not allow for dynamic loads. Assemble and mount equipment at the site where the rack will remain. |
