How do I buy VMware software from HP? |

There are two ways to buy VMware from HP. VMware from HP is available as an option for use with recently purchased ProLiant servers. VMware from HP can also be purchased bundled with HP ProLiant Servers or BladeSystem Matrix giving you the convenience of purchasing your hardware and software on a single purchase order.

What does HP offer for service and support? |
| |
HP includes 1-year or 3-year 9x5 technical software support and updates services for all VMware products from HP.
HP Customer Support will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to the end customer. While HP will retain customer contact, VMware will provide support on any issues that require access to VMware source code or product changes. HP Services has a 2 hour guaranteed response time for all VMware technical support calls and there is no distinction of issue severity in determining the call back timing. All coverage is based on local time zone.

Can I upgrade or extend my SnS? |

Absolutely, HP offers optional VMware software support and subscription packs. Extended Support Packs are available for 4/5 year 9x5 support option and 1/3/4/5-year 24x7 support options.

Who do I call for service and support? |
| |
Customers that purchase VMware from HP should call HP for all VMware software related problems. HP also provides one-stop support for your ProLiant servers and HP StorageWorks products, Guest and host OS support is also available and recommended for a complete support solution.
HP's support system is voice activated. Have Service Agreement ID (SAID) ready and say product name "VMware" for VMware support when calling HP. Please allow 45 days for your Service Agreement ID (SAID) to be generated and mailed to you. Once your SAID is delivered please place it in a safe location and reference it for access to HP software support. If you require technical support prior to receiving your SAID:
