Q1. Does HP StorageWorks XP Replication Manager Software require HP StorageWorks XP Command View Advanced Edition Software?
A1. No. Unlike HP StorageWorks XP Replication Monitor Software, HP StorageWorks XP Replication Manager Software does not require that HP XP Command View AE be installed. However, it does require the CLI/SMI-S function of HP XP Command View AE. The CLI/SMI-S function is provided in HP StorageWorks XP Array Manager Software, HP XP Command View AE, and in the HP XP Command View Advanced Edition CLI/SMI-S product (T1781AM).
Q2. How is HP StorageWorks XP Replication Manager Software licensed?
A2. It is licensed based on the total replicated capacity under management - the sum of the capacities of all primary volumes and secondary volumes under management on a single HP StorageWorks XP Disk Array.
