A new generation of Host Bus Adapters (HBA) offering lower cost and higher performance while remaining completely backward compatible with the previous generation.
The HP StorageWorks AB467A and the AB466A Host Bus Adapters (HBA) for Integrity Servers offer single and dual port versions of the 2 Gb PCI-X to Fibre Channel adapter. These HBAs provide Windows Server 2003 operating system connectivity to the HP StorageWorks Array of products. This new HBA architecture offers lower cost and higher performance Fibre Channel connectivity. The AB466A HBA is the first dual channel for Windows support on Integrity Servers.
Both of these models are completely backwards compatible with previous versions offering the customer complete investment protection. This two port offering also increases the connectivity options in slot restricted servers.
