Licensing SGeSAP/LX |
|
The HP Serviceguard Extension for SAP on
Linux (SGeSAP/LX) is volume licensed. Option #001 must
be ordered for the first SAP Central Instance (System ID, or SID) in a single
cluster, and Options #003 and #999 are optional depending on the total number of
SAP SIDs in the cluster. For example: Order one T2392AA with required 001, 003
or 999 option for each SAP Central Instance (or SAP System ID / SAP SID) in a
single cluster. Each SGeSAP/LX IPF cluster must have at least 1 x option 001.
Option 003 may optionally be ordered for the 2nd and 3rd SAP System IDs in the
cluster. Option 999 may optionally ordered for the 4th and beyond SAP System IDs
in the cluster and can not be selected unless 1 x option 001 and two 003 options
are running on the cluster. For example:

The HP Serviceguard Extension for SAP on
Linux (SGeSAP/LX) is for use with supported HP Integrity
Serviceguard for Linux nodes running supported kernel releases of SAP.
Serviceguard for Linux (SGLX) must also be licensed on each processor core of
each Integrity server in the cluster, and is purchased separately. For more
information, see the SGeSAP Support Matrix in the latest version of the SAP
Release Notes on docs.hp.com.
