This product provides the following benefits for the customer:
  • Higher system availability for business-critical applications
  • Fewer system outages and shorter duration of outages, as compared to single server configurations.
  • Automatic detection of an application or server failure and quick restart on surviving server.
  • Maintenance can be done offline without disrupting service.
  • Ability to monitor the status of all cluster resources in order to easily transfer workload to different servers within the cluster when needed.
  • Provides for manual load balancing and rolling updates on the servers without taking important data and applications offline.
  • Allows server and storage consolidation for cost savings.
