StorageWorks is introducing a new generation of Modular Smart Arrays!

HP makes available a family of products offering dedicated, low-cost block storage with a choice of host connect interfaces ideally suited for small application environments in SMBs, remote offices and as tier 2 or 3 storage for enterprise customers. This new generation of MSA is designed to help customers more effectively centralize storage to lower storage costs, increase storage administrator efficiency and reduce business downtime.

The MSA2000fc features a high-performance 4Gb Fibre Channel connected array. It allows customers to grow their storage as demands increase up to 14.4TB SAS or 36TB SATA, supporting up to 64 hosts for Fibre Channel attach. All models support the optional HP StorageWorks 2000 Modular Smart Array Snapshot Software which offers controller-based snapshot and cloning functionality.

The MSA2000i features a 1Gb Ethernet (1GbE) iSCSI connected array. It allows customers to grow their storage as demands increase up to 14.4TB SAS or 36TB SATA, supporting up to 16 hosts for iSCSI attach. All models support the optional HP StorageWorks 2000 Modular Smart Array Snapshot Software which offers controller-based snapshot and cloning functionality.
