This package creates files that contain the HPQFlash utility and a binary image of the System BIOS (ROM) for the listed notebook models with a 68TT2 Family ROM. The HPQFlash utility is used to locally flash the System BIOS on PCs operating in a Microsoft Windows Operating System environment.

NOTE: To determine the ROM family and ROM date, press F10 on the target notebook during startup to run the Setup Utility, and then view File/System Information.

Fehlerbehebung


  • Corrects issue where the notebook stops responding (locks up) during restart when an IEEE 1394 (FireWire) hard drive is connected.

Erweiterungen


  • Adds Hard Drive Translation Mode option in the Setup utility (F10), which enables users to select either Bit-shift mode or LBA-assisted mode.
