Analysis Service Tools

DECevent is used for hardware fault detection, analysis and notification on VAX and legacy Alpha based systems.

Please note: Although DECevent is still available for download, this application has reached end of life. DECevent V3.4 is the final release of DECevent. No further development support will be provided. This is the outcome of a formal End of Life (EOL) process that applies to both DECevent for OVMS and Tru64 UNIX (V3.4) and DECeventNT V4.1. Technical support for DECevent is provided on a best effort basis.

Open Service Event Manager (OSEM) is used for fault detection, analysis and notification on ProLiant and Integrity systems that generate SNMP traps using the Insight Management Agents.

You can receive news about WEBES and OSEM, as well as notification of new WEBES and OSEM software releases via e-mail. Follow these steps to register for Analysis Service Tools e-mail alerts:

• Go to http://www.hp.com/go/myalerts
• On the main Driver, Patch, Security and Support alerts sign-up page, in step 1A, search for WEBES and then select WEBES from the list in step 1B.  WEBES will then be added to My Product List in step 1C. 
• Perform another search in step 1A for OSEM.  Add OSEM to My Product List. 
• Fill out the rest of the form with preferences, email address, etc.  In step 2, it is recommended that the selection "As they become available" is chosen to the question "How often would you prefer to have alerts emailed to you?” 
• Save the completed form.
• As new versions of OSEM and WEBES are released, an email alert will be sent to the registered email address with details about the new release and where it can be downloaded.
