The purpose of this course is to provide sales representatives with fundamental skills to be proficient at selling ProCurve Layer 2 and Layer 3 products. Topics covered:

After completing the course, the student will be able to:
  • Articulate the ProCurve vision and direction
  • Understand the Adaptive EDGE Architecture's basic vision and market focus
  • Describe the ProCurve value proposition and strategy
  • Understand the basic anatomy of a network
  • Describe Layer 2 vs. Layer 3 switching
  • Define and identify the customer's product/process pain and business issue pain
  • Identify and position the ProCurve products
  • Articulate ProCurve's price and performance connection
  • Learn to use ProCurve sales tools to better position ProCurve products
