This advanced course uses the system engineer's existing skills and knowledge of wireless networking. The purpose of this course is to provide system engineers with the skills knowledge to design, deploy and support secure wireless networks using ProCurve Secure Access products (ProCurve 700 Series)

• HP Channel System Engineers/Network Engineers

To derive the greatest benefit from this course, students should have completed:

• ASE - ProCurve Networking Certification
• Routing Switch Essentials
• HP ProCurve Security v4.31
• HP ProCurve Mobility v4.31
  

• the features and benefits of the HP ProCurve 700 series products.
• initial setup of the HP ProCurve Secure Access products
• defining policies and applying them within the Rights Manager
• the integration of a community of wireless users into an existing network infrastructure, including authentication services and VLAN and ACL structures
• general description of VPNs and how they may be used to provide data privacy for wireless clients
• capabilities of the HP Secure Access system to adaptively support guest access while maintaining high security
• management and maintenance activities for the HP ProCurve Secure Access system
