This course is designed to provide training for HP StorageWorks Continuous Access Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA). The material first covers Continuous Access EVA concepts and the business requirements for Continuous Access EVA, including components such as copy sets, DR groups, and managed sets. It provides instructions on how to configure and manage a Continuous Access EVA configuration using storage management servers with Command View EVA and Replication Solutions Manager software, and details failover processes with both interfaces. Continuous Access EVA extended configurations, use of the replication performance estimator, best practices, troubleshooting techniques complete the course materials.
As the students progress through the course, hands-on laboratories are available. These activities, led by the classroom instructor, are designed to correlate with the lecture materials.
