Course overview
This training is designed for audiences who are familiar with the HP BladeSystem p-Class infrastructure and ProLiant blade servers
but need to learn about the Integrity BL60p and associated deployment and management technologies.
Prerequisites (recommended, but not required)
Before taking this class you should be able to:

Course objectives
After taking this class you should be able to:
Identify the features and benefits of the blade servers offered in the HP BladeSystem portfolio (focus on the BL60p)
Perform HP BladeSystem BL p-Class Blade Server Teardown and Reassembly
Use Ignite-UX to install and configure the BL60p
Deploy HP-UX on the BL60p
Resolve common setup and configuration problems when deploying HP-UX on the BL60p
Configure the MP LAN port IP address and bay name
Log on to the Management Processor (MP) and view the main menu
Connect the HP Integrity BL60p blade server to the network using MP commands
Change the bay name using the BLADE command
Make HP-UX the Primary Boot Option
Perform HP Integrity BL p-Class Blade Server Management
Physically connect to the iLO for Integrity in the BL60p and successfully login
Set up the IP parameters for getting the iLO for LAN connectivity
Navigate within the iLO for Integrity CLI and demonstrate how to use the CLI commands most useful in troubleshooting
List and describe HP-UX system management tools applicable to the BL60p
Use HP SIM 5.0 for HP-UX Discovery and Integrity BL60p Blade Server Management
