Registration

Access the HP Learning Center, select your region, and enter your student ID number and last name. Then, select Search Courses from the left hand navigation bar. Select Search Field:, select Course ID. In the search criteria area type in the course code 31469 and then select search. The course description and register link will be displayed.

This one hour web-based training provides quick and easy access to sales, technical, and service information on Lights-Out devices. It provides the critical product information you need to offer competent sales and presales technical support. Information will be added as product firmware upgrades are announced.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
  • Describe the HP Lights-Out products and the features and benefits provided by the devices.
  • Describe the tasks required to setup and configure a Lights-Out device.
  • Describe the administrative tasks required to manage a Lights-Out device.
  • List some of the common server tasks that management processors can perform.
  • Describe the tasks that can be performed to secure a Lights-Out device on the network.
  • Define the director services available to Lights-Out devices.
