Overview

FACT-Virtualization Basics covers what virtualization is, why everyone is talking about it, why it is important, why HP is investing in it. Additionally, it covers the basics of the infrastructure that benefits from virtualization as a thought-leadership area of HP's Adaptive Enterprise strategy.

Upon successful completion of this class, the participant should be able to:
  • Explain the HP definition of virtualization
  • Describe key virtualization technology concepts
  • Describe how key virtualization concepts have come about over time
  • Describe the evolution from siloed environment to virtualized environment

Cancellation policy

Registration may be canceled without tuition charge if Hewlett-Packard Training Registration receives notification of cancellation eleven business days prior to class. Cancellations made ten to three business days prior to class will incur a $150 cancellation charge. Cancellations made two business days prior or less to class date and/or no-shows will incur the full tuition charge.

All course offerings are dependent on classroom, equipment and instructor availability. Hewlett-Packard reserves the right to cancel or change a class at any time without liability to the attendee for costs incurred due to such cancellations or changes, including, but not limited to, cancellation penalties for transportation or accommodations.
