The HP ProLiant Storage Server Family Service and Support Instructor-led Training (ILT), along with the prerequisite HP ProLiant Storage Server (NAS) WBT, covers sales, service, and support information for the HP ProLiant Storage Server (NAS) product family. Topics include:

• Family overview and progression
• Features, architecture, and functionality of each version of the storage servers
• Planning, configuration, and management included with the storage servers
• Supported software that is available on storage servers, including utilities, backup application, and antivirus applications

• Implementing and Servicing StorageWorks SANs Familiarity with HP SAN-attached disk arrays
• Experience with troubleshooting networks
• Completed at least one MSA or EVA course
• 20736 - Implementing MSA
• 24987 - Implementing EVA

• HP Services field engineers, call center personnel, and other field personnel who provide installation and/or operational support assistance for the Windows Powered NAS product family.
• Customers, and partners with a general interest in learning about the Windows Powered NAS product family.

• List the components, features, and benefits of the NAS family of products.
• Setup and configure ProLiant Storage Servers.
• Create and manage storage.
• Implement advanced storage management tasks for ProLiant Storage Servers
• Manage users, groups, folders, shares, and exports
• Service and maintain Storage Servers

Registration may be canceled without tuition charge if Hewlett-Packard Training Registration receives notification of cancellation eleven business days prior to class. Cancellations made ten to three business days prior to class will incur a $150 cancellation charge. Cancellations made two business days prior or less to class date and/or no-shows will incur the full tuition charge.
