Course overview

After attending this session, the students will be able to describe the manageability tools from HP that support the entire ESS portfolio. Not only will they learn about the latest HP Integrity Essentials product but they will also watch live demonstrations of this management tool. Attendees will work with a variety of ProLiant Essentials products and perform labs using Virtual Machine Management (VMM), Server Migration Pack (SMP), Performance Management Pack (PMP), Vulnerability and Patch Management (VPM), Version Control Repository Manager (VCRM), Rapid Deployment Pack (RDP) and Physical to ProLiant. They will also use Storage Essentials to dynamically manage a SAN environment hosting an Exchange application. In addition, they will learn about opportunities for their customers utilizing Storage Essentials to minimize the complexity of the customer's SAN environment.

Prerequisites (recommended, but not required)

Before taking this class you should be able to:
  • Experience with SIM, ProLiant Essentials, Integrity Essentials, and Storage Essentials

    Cancellation policy

    Registration may be canceled without tuition charge if Hewlett-Packard Training Registration receives notification of cancellation eleven business days prior to class. Cancellations made ten to three business days prior to class will incur a $150 cancellation charge. Cancellations made two business days prior or less to class date and/or no-shows will incur the full tuition charge.
