Course overview

The HP Commercial SMB Sales Essentials Training course is a broad overview of HP commercial SMB sales strategies, products, services, and support programs. The focus of the training is to introduce you to HP and show you how to use the HP commercial and SMB portfolio to increase your sales of HP Volume products, services, and solutions. Although this course covers a broad range of information, the information is synthesized into key sales and products areas such as, business drivers, customer profiles, markets and sales opportunities, positioning, key sales benefits, technology benefits, and consultative selling using the HP 7-Step sales methodology.

A 4-hour web-based training version of this course is also available. It is course code 38489 and it can be accessed from the Learning Center for partners.

Course objectives

By participating in this training you should be able to:

  • Position an HP commercial computing solution to meet a customer's business need.
  • Understand the sales resources that will assist with your efforts to sell HP commercial products and attach options, software, and services.
