Access the HP Learning Center, select your region, and enter your student ID number and last name. Then, select Search Courses from the left hand navigation bar. Select Search Field:, select Course ID. In the search criteria area type in the course code 489 and then select search. The course description and register link will be displayed.

This HP Storage Software and Solutions Full-Line Technical web-based training (WBT) course provides the StorageWorks Division "product line" information to a presales technical support audience. This is an introductory level course that introduces the technologies, storage management applications, and packaged storage solutions designed to meet specific customer business needs. The course covers the following topics:

• HP Adaptive Enterprise
• HP storage management software
• HP XP-specific management software
• Business continuity solutions
• IT consolidation solutions
• Other HP solutions

Also included is a "What's new" section that provides information on new storage software solutions products since the last revision. After the completion of this course, you should have an entry-level foundation of the storage management products and storage solution that HP offers. This course will be a prerequisite for more advanced StorageWorks Division technical training, which will expand on the topics and products presented in this course. This course will help you design and implement the best solution for you or your customer's storage needs.
