This course provides training for the HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) family of products

  • EVA4400 (third generation)
  • EVA 4x00/6x00/8x00 series models (second generation)

Course includes

  • EVA hardware and software components and their functions
  • How the EVA implements virtualization technology
  • How to set up the EVA, and how to configure and manage it using management hardware and software
  • How to support the EVA by using reporting mechanisms, diagnostics, and troubleshooting

  • Enterprise Storage System Software XCS 9.000 — EVA4400
  • Enterprise Storage System Software XCS 6.110 — EVA 4x00/6x00/8x00 series
  • Enterprise Storage System Software VCS 4.00x
  • EVA 3000/5000 series
  • Current version is VCS 4.007
  • Command View EVA 8.0, the element manager software running on the management server
