Course overview
The one-day Sales Builder for Windows course is designed to introduce the attendee to the SBW configuration tool.
The training launches directly into a configuration example of moderate complexity and will include different parts
of the HP product line for illustration. The product used for illustration will be identified and selected, then
configured to simulate a real-world opportunity. Configuration changes will be examined on the line-level so as to
illustrate the functioning of the "Knowledge Base"; a set of rules that govern configurations to ensure a build-able
configuration is generated. This operationally driven example will enable you to effectively utilize the tool in your
own area of product focus after the session.
Objectives:
Introduce the SBW configuration tool
Review configuration examples
Describe the rules that govern configuration
Select Services in the tool and examine their pricing impact
Move configurations into the "Quote" module and examine the quote generating features
Export reports to the Crystal Report Writer which is an integral part of the SBW suite
