Servicing HP BladeSystem (p-Class and c-Class) training focuses on using service information resources, utilities, and diagnostic tools to install, configure, troubleshoot and repair BladeSystem products. The student will become familiar with the technology, features, component layout, and service considerations for BladeSystem hardware as a foundation for the diagnostic process.
Lab exercises provide the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience with BladeSystem products and tools. Activities include enclosure setup, use of utilities, and installing and configuring connectivity options.

Before attending this course, you must complete the web-based training:
- ProLiant Server Basics, course 209, is required preparation in server technology. (Select the ProLiant Technology Basics for Service Professionals profile.)
- HP ProLiant Family, course 205, is required preparation in ProLiant family products. (Select the Services profile.)
Both prerequisites are free downloads from the HP Learning Center.
Instructions for accessing web based courses on the Learning Center
- Enter your student ID number and your last name.
- Click AVAILABLE COURSES
- Choose GROUPED BY SUBJECT from the drop down menu.
- Choose your course from the displayed list.
- The course information datasheet will provide you with the description of the course and estimated duration of the class.

Registration may be canceled without tuition charge if Hewlett-Packard Training Registration receives notification of cancellation twenty-one business days prior to class. Cancellations made twenty to three business days prior to class will incur a $150 cancellation charge ($210 in Canada, plus applicable taxes). Cancellations made two business days prior or less to class date and/or no-shows will incur the full tuition charge.
All course offerings are dependent on classroom, equipment and instructor availability. Hewlett-Packard reserves the right to cancel or change a class at any time without liability to the attendee for costs incurred due to such cancellations or changes, including, but not limited to, cancellation penalties for transportation or accommodations
