Course overview

This 4 day course covers installation and usage, preparing engineers to train users on everyday tasks and maintenance of the HP Designjet 8000/9000/10000. Course enrollment for this instructor-led training is only available to employees of participants in the IPG QSR Program.

Service qualification

This course is required for Service Qualification.  In addition to this class, students planning to provide service and support must complete the following: 

  • HP Designjet 8000/9000/10000 Service and Support Training 

    • (course code: 30119v3)

    And

  • Onyx RIPs for HP Designjet Low-solvent : Install, Use & Troubleshoot
    (course code: 30119RIP) 

    NOTE: Students with RIP experience may exempt this class by validating that they have gained the equivalent knowledge through training and/or work experience.  The exemption only applies to those students who have the necessary proficiency to install, configure, and train end users on the use of Onyx Graphics PosterShop and SignEZ RIPs.  The training validation form will be provided on request at the time of training registration.

    • HP Designjet Low-solvent Portfolio and Technology Overview Web-based training
      Course code:  40790 (30 minutes)

      Access this course on the Learning Center at www.hp.com/go/onlinelearning using your HP Student ID. 

    Audience

    Individuals providing installation and start-up services and end-user customer training. 

    Students must be employed by participants in the HP Solvent QSR Program.
